We collect personal information from you when you create an account, apply for a mortgage loan, communicate with us using our web forms to make a request or ask a question or otherwise submit personal information to us with your communication.

For example, we will receive information about you from a credit reporting agency and will also acquire information about you from other third parties, such as real estate developers, with whom you shared your information and whom you have allowed to provide information to us.

Use of Personal Information

We use your information to provide our services to you and to manage our business operations. Some examples include:

(a) to create and administer your account;
(b) to authenticate you when you log in to your account;
(c) to assess your application and determine your eligibility for a mortgage loan;
(d) to approve, administer, service and enforce your mortgage loan;
(e) to detect and prevent fraud and other unauthorized or illegal activities;
(f) to communicate with you about your requests;
(g) to communicate with you regarding customer service issues;
(h) to communicate with our business partners and service providers, including real estate developers, credit reporting agencies and lenders;

At the time you apply for a mortgage loan, we will obtain your consent to collect credit-related information from credit reporting agencies in order to help us determine your eligibility for a loan.

We may obtain your consent to use your contact information to send you marketing or promotional communications by mail, email or telephone. You can opt-out of receiving marketing communications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in our marketing email communications or by contacting us as set out under Questions or Complaints below. Please note that you may continue to receive certain transactional or informational communications from us.

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected the information or as required by law. We maintain a records retention and destruction program to destroy information when it is no longer needed or required.

Disclosure of Personal Information

We may share your personal information with our business partners and service providers that help us with our business operations. For example, we will share information with credit reporting agencies, lenders and any other party as needed to deliver our service offering to you. We require our business partners and service providers to keep your personal information secure. In addition, our business partners and service providers may not use or disclose personal information for any purpose other than to perform their designated functions.

We may transfer any information we have about you in connection with a merger or sale involving all or part of our business or as part of a corporate reorganization or stock sale or other change in corporate control.
